POSITION SUMMARY

Plans, schedules, coordinates and / or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Production Planning

  • Work with ICO partners to ensure orders are entered correctly.
  • Responsible communicating with ICO partners regarding ICO orders and ensuring ICO partners receive all necessary documentation regarding ICO orders.
  • Assist production scheduling to drive implementation of MRP into SAP Scheduling using Scheduling Margin Keys; Creating and designation of shared vs dedicated resources.
  • Assist and organize activities of the scheduling/customer service department to best utilize associates to achieve short and long range goals.
  • Participate in preparation of forecasts with sales and marketing divisions.
  • Coordinate production scheduling, finished goods inventory control, and devise methods and policies to ensure the most efficient and economical movement of work-in-process materials.

 

SAP Data Integrity

  • Accountable for accurate data including ROP for finished goods.

  • Coordinate containment schedules to ensure coverage during absences due to appointments and vacations.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and or college level business; accounting or supply chain related coursework or commensurate professional work experience.
