Job Title:  Sales Manager

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Account Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients.
    • Act as the main point of contact and build a deep understanding of clients' business needs and objectives.
  • Client Retention and Growth:
    • Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling additional products or services.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet client requirements and drive value.
  • Hunting for New Accounts:
    • Prospect and identify new business opportunities outside of existing accounts.
    • Utilize tools and guidance from marketing activities to identify potential clients and industries for expansion.
  • Sales Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop account plans, sales strategies and proposals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Work closely with the sales support and business development team to align account strategies with overall company goals.
  • New Business Development:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to convert leads into sales opportunities.
    • Leverage networking and industry knowledge to uncover new business prospects.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
    • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contractual arrangements.

 

 

  • Customer Advocacy:
    • Advocate for the client within the organization, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed promptly.
    • Manage and resolve client concerns, acting as a liaison between the client and internal teams.
    • Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and performance metrics.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • All other duties as assigned by management.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management roles, with a successful track record.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.
