Job Title:  Technical Sales Manager

Summary of Position

As a Technical Sales Manager for Flint Group NA, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our client relationships through demonstration of print expertise and product knowledge.

This position requires a dynamic and customer-focused professional with a proven track record as an application specialist in the web printing market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for account management and identifying growth opportunities and securing new accounts.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Account Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients growing market share within those customers
  • Act as the main point of contact and build a deep understanding of clients' business needs and objectives.
  • Project and establish strategic action plan for print optimisation
  • Proven track record in achieving established KPI's 
  • Sales Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop account plans, sales strategies and proposals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales support and business development team to align account strategies with overall company goals.
  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Work with the VP Sales in contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
  • Collaborate with lab and technical teams during negotiation to ensure viability in practical delivery 

 

  • Customer Advocacy:
  • Advocate for the client within the organization, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed promptly.
  • Manage and resolve client concerns, acting as a liaison between the client and internal teams.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

 

Position Requirements

  • Print industry qualification or the requisite years of experience in web printing.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.
