Job Title: Graphic Technician, 3rd Shift
| GRAPHIC TECHNICIAN (GT) | |
| KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
| Work within the Flint TPS Ink Management system to provide blended ink to customers’ presses: | |
| Weigh, blend and deliver in a productive and efficient manner press-ready | |
| inks to the customer’s equipment within the plant. | |
| Responsible for appropriate color matching, ink formulation, and mixing at | |
| the customer’s site according to customer’s production schedule. | |
| Prepare and maintain accurate records including color matches, ink | |
| adjustments, onsignment returns and complaints as directed by the supv. | |
| Assist in maintaining work off press process by regulating use and storage of obsolete materials and perform appropriate record keeping functions. Responsibilities do not include arranging for the disposal of any hazardous wastes for the customer as such disposal is the sole responsibility of the customer. | |
| Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. | |
| DECISION-MAKING RESPONSIBILITY: | |
| 1. Quality of product delivered to customer: conformance vs specification. | |
| 2. Selection of raw materials & suitabilty of finished match in new color matches. | |
| 3. Suitability of press return inks for recycle. | |
