Job Title:  Graphic Technician

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:         

Coordinate and manage finished ink supply within the customer’s location. Communicate with the customer to ensure accurate product demand, while recognizing Bancroft Bag and Flint Group working capital targets.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve a zero work place injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized work place. Comply with all Flint Group and Bancroft Bag Safety requirements including your attendance in monthly safety training and the wearing of personal protection equipment. A clean work space is a safe work place.

• Weigh, blend and QC inks within pH, viscosity and ∆E tolerances set for the customer. Deliver press ready inks in a productive, efficient, and safe manner to meet the demands of the customer’s production schedule.

• Follow appropriate quality control and inspection process to include color control with     X-Rite equipment.

• Maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control records to meet customer’s production schedule, any ink adjustments at press, press downtime documents, work with your supervisor to develop root cause and corrective actions.

• Tone inks to meet customer standards

• Assist with on press customer approvals.

• Assist with ink estimations and scheduling for jobs going to press.

• Assist with maintaining the work off ink process by regulating use and storage.

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of all Flint Group products to support the customer demand while in alignment with Flint Group inventory control methods, Days on Hand inventory and product lead times. 

• Ensure that the blending area, office, equipment and floors are cleaned and properly maintained to meet the standards of AIB certification.
