Job Title:  Operator, Production

1.   Purpose:

1.1. To Provide a Work Instruction that defines the position of Deck Operator.

2.   Responsibility:

2.1. The Deck Operator is responsible for the following activities as directed by the Deck Lead:

2.1.1.   Prepping packaging materials for batches to be produced

2.1.2.   Making necessary dry adds to production batches

2.1.3.   Making necessary solvent adds to production batches

2.1.4.   Sampling material to the lab as necessary

2.1.5.   Filling containers accurately to the specified weights on the batch tickets

2.1.6.   Creating and affixing applicable labels for packaging containers

2.1.7.   Movement of finished product to the warehouse (FG1 location)

2.1.8.   Proper completion of applicable sections of the batch sheets

2.1.9.   Responsible for housekeeping of the deck tank area

2.1.10. All additional functions as assigned

7.   Procedure: Deck Operator

7.1. Responsible for the following activities as directed by the Deck Lead:

7.1.1.   Prepping packaging materials for batches to be produced

7.2. Expected pay band:

7.2.1.   Operators in this job function may range from “A” to “C” Operator status.  Differentiations between these pay classifications will be based on the following criteria:

7.2.1.3.      Level of cross-training in other job functions

7.2.1.4.      Job performance
