Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Role:
Drive implementation of SFP and PB toolboxes
Maintain branding and master data integrity, following AquaCode and SFP guidelines
Develop and support growth of SFP initiatives, as they relate to the packaging industry.
Support New Product Development projects for SFP & PB, specifically during Ideation & Launch phase
Drive SFP and PB Cost-Take-Out projects, by facilitating the phase in/phase out processes within the prescribed Management of Change framework.
Evaluate customer research, market conditions, global trends and competitor data, collaborating with the marketing team, to define & implement the divisional strategy.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and maintain North American SFP and PB product portfolios, including branding, at the master data level.
Support the regional teams in development and maintenance of a simplified product selection process for new customer projects / pipeline opportunities / tender processes.
Leveraging IT and ERP assets, establish & maintain best practices for (1)phase in/phase out processes (2) BOM management, and (3) SKU creation/reactivation in support of Supply Chain and Operations process.
Manage Product Recommendation collateral, to ensure regional growth activities align with global toolbox.
Champion market need & Voice of the Customer to populate the Ideation stage of the Innovation Cycle
Support the global procurement strategies by managing cost take out projects & alternative sourcing initiatives
To ensure that all activities and procedures within the team comply with Flint Group Mission and Guiding Principles, company policies and business ethics codes.

Work Experience And Required Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge about inks and coatings; familiar with product coding and classification rules for packaging ink products.
Minimum three years of experience in product formulations and/or different printing technologies used across the packaging industry
Commercial/financial understanding
Proven ability to cooperate with and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Excellent SAP (material master data, product recipes, sales evaluation) and Qlik/CRM skills
Ability to create effective documents in order to provide product and project information to a wider group of people in an effective and efficient way
Self-directed, self-motivated and assertive
Ability to operate effectively in a complex environment
Strong communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English
