Job Title:  Production Manager

Job Description

The Production Manager will be responsible for the management of all production activities for the facility and associated personnel. The position will also need to work closely with support personnel to include safety, engineering, supply chain & materials, administrative, and quality departments to ensure that our objectives are met. Measurable criteria will include TIR, quality of product, on-time delivery, production efficiency, and conversion cost improvement.

                                                                                                                        

Reporting to the position will be all production supervisors. The position will report to the Director of Operations

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all employees are working in a safe manner and have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs safely
  • Review, Modify/build (as necessary), implement and audit all quality processes and ensure compliance to the quality goals and standards determined by the Organization
  • Develop processes and standards to secure a compliance with Regulatory, HSE Policies and Lean manufacturing principles
  • Educate and coach to ensure that all employees are familiar with Production frameworks
  • Assist in the Development, implement and lead GMP program
  • Develop, implement and lead ISO 9001 program
  • Assist in the Development, implementation and audit Standard Operating procedures in line with ISO 9001/14001 standards
  • Weekly management of employee timecards and pay corrections when needed
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualification Profile

 

Experience

  • 3+ Years in manufacturing, or related field
  • 5+ Years in management of personnel

Education

  • 4 year degree (Technical degree preferred)

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint)
  • Ability to manage employees in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with other Flint Group facilities around the world.
  • Attentive to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Works effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems
  • Experience identifying potential problems and offering alternative solutions
  • Meeting deadlines within budget
  • Having a continuous quality improvement mind set
  • SAP Business processing system experience (Preferred)
