Job Title:  Marketing Specialist

  

 

As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating and supporting a wide variety of marketing activities in North America. This position requires a dynamic and results focused marketer with a passion for promoting the company brand in relevant and exciting ways on appropriate marketing platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting efforts in the areas of industry events, company sales & marketing events, social media communications, customer communications and various promotional activities. You will be the key person to execute and support marketing activities in North America.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Industry Event Coordination & Support:
    • Coordinate planning, logistics and execution for industry promotional events such as trade shows, seminars and summits.
    • Attend events and create content from these events for publishing on effective social media platforms and company website, including photo, video and written formats.
  • Internal Sales & Marketing Event Coordination :
    • Coordinate planning, logistics and execution for internal company events, including sales meetings, key customer meetings, partner events and marketing team meetings.
    • Attend events and create content from these events for publishing on effective social media platforms and company website, including photo, video and written formats.
  • Support Customer Visits To Innovation Center
    • Attend most/all customer visits/meetings/demonstrations at Xeikon Innovation Center
    • Create content from these events for publishing on effective social media platforms and company website, including photo, video and written formats.
  • CRM (Salesforce/Pardot) Support & Execution:
    • Follow up and execution on sales promotion activities entered into Salesforce.
    • Tracking and communication regarding sales reports and dashboards for Sales & Marketing Director and Management Team.
  • Communicate & Collaborate With External Marketing Partners:
    • Work closely with various marketing support partners to insure effective activities.
    • Prepare reports for Sales & Marketing Director on external partner activity and results.
  • Contribute To Marketing Strategy Direction and Development:
    • Provide feedback and suggestions for new ideas, approach and direction for marketing activities and priorities.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • All other duties as assigned by management.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing communications, social media activities, events.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ideally, a ‘digital native’ who understands and thrives in today’s various media options.
  • Ability to create content for market consumption in various formats.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on supporting sales teams to achieve success.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a passion for all things marketing related.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.
