Job Title:  Production Scheduler

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling incoming orders and finished goods planning
• Generate shipping plan on a daily basis
• Communicate back log to the field on a daily basis
• Work with Customer Service and Sales groups on customer needs (hot rushes)
• Cover vacations as needed in Shipping/Receiving and for Materials Manager
• Work with Materials Manager for accurate inventory control
• Work with Production Manager to communicate customer needs and set batch priorities
• Cut production tickets daily
• Maintain schedule adherence or communicate divergences to Operations Manager, Customer Service, and Sales

Requirements

• Lead or supervisor experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• High level of safety consciousness
• Excellent team player
• High degree of knowledge for both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SAP, preferred
• High attention to detail
• Ability to communicate to both internal teammates and customers
