Senior Graphic Technician

Key Job Responsibilities:

Properly operate and maintain Ink Master (or related software prog.) for batches & jobs, Keep records as required to demonstrate performance of blending op.

Establish and monitor appropriate housekeeping and safety procedures within customer locations.

Follow appropriate quality control and inspection process for inks to ensure quality to presses.

Coordinate color approval process with customer.

Identify and resolve press ink problems and serve as liaison between customer and designated company location.

Responsibilities may include the maintaining of volatile organic compound compliance schedules and generating necessary reports. Responsibilities do not include arranging for the disposal of any hazardous wastes for the customer, as such disposal is the sole responsibility of the customer.

May be called upon to perform duties assigned to Graphic Technician.

Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Decision-Making Responsibilities:

• Quality of product delivered to customer: conformance vs specification
• Selection of raw materials & suitability of finished match in new color matches
• Suitability of press return ink for recycle.
