Job Overview

We are seeking a Print Demonstrator (Workflow & Colour Management) to join our team in Xeikon’s Global Innovation Centre (GIC) in Lier, Belgium. In this role, you will focus on demonstrating, testing, and validating Xeikon’s full suite of print solutions, including printing engines, workflow software (e.g., Xeikon X-800, Caldera), and colour management systems.

 

As a technical specialist, you will showcase the capabilities of Xeikon technology to customers, support workflow efficiency and colour accuracy, and provide expert insights to internal teams. The role combines technical expertise, customer-facing engagement, and a passion for driving high-quality print outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging live demonstrations at the GIC and at industry events such as trade shows.
  • Manage and optimize colour profiling, calibration, and quality control across all Xeikon platforms.
  • Provide structured feedback to R&D and product management to support continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate to customers, operators, and internal teams on workflow and colour management best practices.
  • Produce high-quality printed samples that support sales and marketing activities.

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Printing Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred. Equivalent hands-on experience in digital printing, workflow systems, or colour management will also be considered.
  • Experience in digital printing technologies, RIP/workflow systems, and front-end solutions is a strong plus.
  • Background in colour management, profiling, and calibration preferred.

  • Solid knowledge of workflow RIP/DFE solutions.
  • Expertise in colour management, profiling, calibration, and quality assurance across applications.
  • Hands-on experience in digital print workflows spanning labels, packaging, and specialty print.
  • Ability to troubleshoot workflow and colour issues quickly and effectively.

 

Personal & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong presentation and customer engagement skills for demonstrations and training.
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Growth mindset — eager to learn and adopt emerging workflows, technologies, and innovations.
