Summary of Position

Effectively manages, sustains and/or grows business within existing account locations, while also prioritizing the pursuit of profitable new business.  Establishes constructive business relations with key customer operating and procurement personnel and rapidly resolves customers’ issues.  Researches and develops business capture strategies and works diligently to secure substantial levels of incremental, new account sales.  Preferable home location is the Northeast U.S. Region.  

 

 

 

 

  • Develop and execute account strategies to meet the annual sales plan in assigned accounts within the assigned geographical territory including the efficient use of travel and call frequency to maximize face-to-face contact with customers.

 

  • Ability to grow the business in assigned accounts as well as identifies and grows business in other accounts.  Capable of preparing and presenting price strategy and negotiation.

 

  • Grow customer relationships as a value added business consultant. The effective use of the expense budget to enhance and grow your sales position with customers and prospects.

 

  • Prepare sales presentations, call plans, proposals and reports for internal and external communication through the efficient use of the computer.

 

  • Prepare annual sales forecasts based on territory account and market information as well as communicate changes in territory market conditions.

 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase sales to existing accounts and acquire new ones through the dialogue and approval of the Director, Sales.

 

  • Coordinate interface between customer and other company resources to provide value added service to accounts.

 

  • Attendance is an essential function of this position and we rely on all our employees to be at work during their schedule shift
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant field and/or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of five years sales experience with a minimum of two years sales in printing or allied products.  Related experience in printing operations may be substituted for some of the experience requirements.  
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 70% along with overnight travel up to 50%.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Suite required
