Summary of Position

A Quality Assurance Specialist ensures products and processes meet required quality standards and specifications throughout development and production. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to improve quality and compliance with industry regulations. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability, develop quality assurance plans, and maintain detailed documentation. The role often involves continuous improvement initiatives, training staff on quality procedures, and contributing to product development to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Primary responder on non-conformances and management of the Quality CAPA tracker, assigning investigation and CAPA definition to appropriate department. Manage the CAPA communication process
  • Investigate customer complaints by performing effective root cause analysis and implementing appropriate corrective actions in conjunction with related departments
  • Control and make sure that corrective actions from Root cause process are implemented
  • Ensure that communications with customers are timely, accurate and professional by following the Process Map related
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data - Track and report in time and manner the KPIs for Quality department
  • Lead the Suppliers performance
  • Responsible for claims open towards Suppliers in case of non-conformity products and/or customer complaint related issues
  • Conduct evaluation process through analysis and reporting of findings out of the Incoming Inspection
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality assurance
  • Plan and execute competence development in close collaboration with the line managers and supervisors
  • Responsible for ISO implementation and maintenance at Rogers.
  • Plan and execute systematically Internal Audits
  • Main contact for External Audits
  • Project management
  • Support with the strategy creation process and follow up
  • Responsible for 5S framework, way of working and audits
  •   Writes reports, documentation, and technical standards (e.g. operator maintenance instructions)

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical or science discipline preferred
  • Experience with SAP, preferred
  • Ability to work with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal skills to communicate confidently with all levels of management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving & creative thinking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
