Shift:
- Monday - Friday
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Safety: Champion a safety-first culture through personal leadership and reinforcement of safe employee behaviors.
- Training: Train Quality Technicians on testing equipment operation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation of test results and data collection.
- Quality Systems: Assist with the equipment calibration program and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Documentation: Assist with managing quality control results documentation and batch record keeping.
- Customer Communication: Ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication with customers.
- Complaint Investigation: Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with the manufacturing team.
- Statistical Analysis: Utilize statistical methods to address product variation, ensure First Yield Pass targets, and collaborate with R&D on new product scale-up.
- Team Efficiency: Ensure technicians perform tests accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Proactively investigate and troubleshoot quality issues with operations personnel.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to identify gaps and ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Non-Conformance and CAPA: Coordinate with departments on non-conformances and customer complaints. Ensure effective root cause analysis, Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) report creation, and follow-up using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and internal audits.
- CAPA Management: Serve as the primary responder for non-conformances. Manage the Quality CAPA tracker, assigning investigations and CAPA definition to appropriate departments. Oversee CAPA communication and apply DMAIC and 8D methodology to ensure effective implementation.
- Reporting: Prepare reports to communicate quality assurance outcomes.
- Data Analysis: Collect and compile statistical quality data. Track and report weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Quality department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in a related field (Preferred)
- Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and production drawings
- Ability to perform analytical and math functions
- Strong understanding of test measurements
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to sit, walk, climb, bend at the waist, reach, and use hand tools with force
