Job Title:  Warehouse Manager

This position will oversee all functions of the Warehouse, including the shipping and receiving department to ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently. Responsible for the overall day to day floor operation and office processes in order to meet all customer needs in a timely manner. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees are working in a safe manner and have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs safely
• Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensures all international shipments are handled in accordance with all laws and regulations. 
• Manage all Carriers and shipments to ensure deliveries are labeled correctly and delivered on-time to the customer
• Responsible for scheduling all department hour, working overtime as necessary to meet customer expectations.
• Communicate with operations to ensure production schedule will meet customer deadlines.
• Management of dock doors and equipment to result in the safest, most efficient flow into and out of the facility.
• Manage the Inventory for the warehouse by ensuring all product is put away accurately and overseeing monthly cycle counts.
• Bi-Weekly management of employee timecards and pay corrections when needed.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Experience

This positions requires 5-7 years of experience in shipping and receiving as well as a proven background of managing others.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Skills

• DOT Hazmat certification
• SAP Business processing system experience.
• Ability to manage employees in a professional manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with other Flint Group facilities and commercial team.
