PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To be responsible for the coordination of sales and service activities for Paper & Board segment by developing existing and new profitable sales and market opportunities in his Area according to the agreed Group strategy and guidelines.
POSITION WITHIN ORGANISATION:
Reporting directly to the Sales & Service Manager Iberia (SM) and opportunity to replace him in few years.
MAIN FUNCTION:
Collaborate on the regional budget preparation at Country level, in conjunction with the Iberia SM and Commercial Director Western Europe.
In coordination with the SM, develop business plans, market and target customer strategies and action plans.
Preparation and management of customers Commercials under his responsibility (trough CRM Platform).
Develop and update market intelligence, customer potentials and competition behavior in the market.
Provide accurate reporting activity and sales results (via CRM and other available tools).
Collaborate with KAM and SM to deliver qualified high service value, high profitability and new sales opportunity.
MAIN CHALLENGES:
Develop and implement the sales activities in the area of responsibility, and achieve objectives of sales growth, profitability, working capital and market share.
Ensure that the agreed plan for the sales area is developed and put in place in order to generate new business and/or to retain customers, maximize sales and profit.
Establish, develop and maintain first class and lasting relationships with existing and new key customers and strategic accounts.
Pro-actively liaise with Technical Assistance team and Product Management in order to share market knowledge and effectively contribute to the development and implementation of the Paper & Board strategy.
• Deep knowledge/solid background (minimum of 5 years) in inks, packaging or related industries.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management.
• Proven track record in Sales Leadership roles.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Demonstrable negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate with customers at senior and middle management level.
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Ability to perform and interpret financial analysis.
• Able to develop area and product related business plans.
• Great questioner and communicator.
• Team player with positive enthusiasm, drive and energetic attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and close deadline.
• Availability to travel according to the Company and customer needs.
• Education: Engineer, Degree in Chemistry or proven long experience in printing / packaging market.
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written). Portuguese knowledge is a plus.
