Job Title:  Inventory Coordinator

 

 

Inventory Coordinator- West Chester

The Inventory Coordinator maintains records of materials in inventory and in process, reconciles discrepancies through cycle counting activities, and notifies the direct manager and support teams of any irregularities. They interact with internal personnel to improve processes related to supply orders, production orders, and material movements

SUMMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

(Include the following, however, other duties may apply.)

  • Monitors and tracks movements and investigates problems
  • Performs Cycle counts on a daily basis to ensure full site inventory count is completed monthly.
  • Reports accuracy of inventory cycle counts to direct manager daily.
  • Batch ticket completion and verification daily, COGI and Zcrep1 reports
  • Batch ticket errors fixed and trends reported to Service Center Manager.
  • Assist with Quality Control, Shipping, as directed by manager

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Close attention to detail is essential
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be very proficient, quick and comfortable with personal computer navigation and operation
  • Must be able to drive a standup/sit down forklift. MS Word, Google Sheets, SAP ERP

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Relatable inventory management experience.
  • High school diploma required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
  • Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform basic and intermediate mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages, MIN/MAX to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and resolve
  • Discrepancies in a reasonable amount of time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and drive a standup/sit down forklift. 
  • Reach with hands and arms. Ability to safely handle goods weighing up to 50lbs
