Job Title:  Production Operator

PRODUCTION OPERATOR – West Chester, OH

 

 

Production Operators are responsible for accurate and timely production of water base and UV inks, labeling and moving materials to the appropriate storage location. Utilizes computer system (SAP) to perform transactions as applicable.

 

You will:

  • Produce a variety of inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures.    
  • Locate materials and supplies and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Carry out various tasks in the preparation, reaction and storage of a variety of products, using mixers, pumps, filters, forklifts and other manufacturing equipment.
  • The Operator will come in contact with a variety of chemicals and chemical waste products, some of which can be hazardous.
  • Batch processing includes changing material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading, unloading and cleaning equipment, packaging product, maintaining a safe and orderly work area, assisting in other production areas as needed.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand up for 90% of the day.
  • Must be able to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work any shift.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

2nd Shift: 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM (Monday to Thursday)

Pay: Starting at $19/hour

As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in our safety-first environment, executing various tasks to ensure the safe and on-time production of inks. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be involved in receiving raw materials, ink batch production, re-packing materials, and contributing to maintaining an accurate inventory.

Job Description:

Follow all safety procedures in place.

Conduct small and large batch manufacturing, including blending of materials and performing Quality Control (QC) procedures.

Complete batch tickets and enter QC results.

Repack and label materials.

Operate a Fork Truck (both stand-up and sit-down) and possess computer skills.

Lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:
